I do one week on abx and one week off. I have started using chlorella on my week off & think it is helping. Would like to take it also on my week on ABX. Is it ok with abx?
Thanks in advance Posted by SForsgren (Member # 7686) on :
I would say yes. I take it all the time.

Chlorella is okay and beneficial for infants, children and adults, as long as they tolerate it well. There are some people that don't. It does not interfer with your abx. If you have a die-off of bacteria, etc. with your abx, the cells will often also release heavy metals and chlorella helps to move the metals through the system. Many a herxheimer is misinterpreted and is actually caused by mobilized heavy metals. I would take it as directed, so that you get that benefit --- 30 minutes before the meal.
Read my post on Chlorella. I posted it just a few days ago again. It is worthwhile knowing what it actually is and does.
Take care.

Hi GiGi, I've been following your postings concerning both chlorella and rechtsregulat and am interested in both.
Unfortunately, when I tried a search for BioPure, I was only able to find references to it, no website.
Do you have the web address that you order from for these products? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, Jill

It's www.biopureus.com. But you'll have to call the phone number listed on the web page to order. (their web site is under construction).

Thanks so much for the address.
Sometimes I feel like I'm putting a puzzle together with each piece/supplement, hopefully getting me closer to the whole picture.

Can you take Chlorella while still having mercury fillings in.?? I can't afford to finish getting my filling removed right now. Mish

My doc, who is a mercury expert, says that you should not try to chelate while you still have fillings. Since chlorella is a weak chelator, it may not cause problems with the fillings, but at the same time, my doc recommends against it as it can do more harm than good - latching onto the mercury but discoupling before safely exiting the body, thus redistributing it and reactivating symptoms. You may want to read Cutler's book, Amalgam Illness.
