What helps?
FIR?
Rife?
Oxygen?
Excercize?
Podi Patches?

Giving up sugar, milk, bread (everything but vegetables and chicken) helped me.

FIR is great, foot patches are good for some (I use them), Rife can be good (I use it).

That helps what?? Lyme??

Healthy eating. No sugar, no simple carbs.

Antibiotics [of course]

Rife [I'm in the early stages of using it, but believe it is working.]

Generally speaking, Rife is said to work better the less you use ABX. I am hoping to start pulsing ABX by early next year and then outline a plan for stopping all together...

I use the foot pads regularly and believe they do help.

I don't use the podi patches but less expensive ones I get on ebay.

Other than that, my treatment has been pretty conventional.

Too much sleep makes me worse,, and suicidally depressed.

I do best on 6-7 hours a night.

If I wake up and then go back to sleep everything is worse.

Pumpkin Seed Oil capsules are a good addition to whatever else you are doing. The parasites HATE Pumpkin Seeds and the Oil is a more concenrated form.

For me, gentle exercise is almost as good as the ABX themselves. However, I have not been completely debilitated or bed-ridden at any time during my illness (2 1/2 years). Walking is so therapeutic for me that it tends to dissolve a lot of my muscle pain and neuropathy. It's too bad it is now frigid up here in the Windy City, since it makes leisure walks virtually impossible.

If you don't mind me asking what brand of Foot Detox Pads do you buy off of E-Bay? Thank you!

Hi, Andrea!
I get my foot patches from the ebay seller: detoxpads4sale. Just do an ebay search for foot detox patches.

I had to play around with the ones that were the most effective for me, and it varies on different parts of my foot. So I got a mix of pads and experiemented.

Actually, I just ordered another batch last night.

Send me a pm if you I can help any more.

Hi Vitch,

For me it was a combination of low dose antibiotics and hyperbaric oxygen over a long period of time. Diet, low impact exercise, detoxification and maintaining the mind and spirit where also key.

Every case is different now that everyone has different co infections and I believe that is where the key to sucess lays. In treating the co infections first...just IMHO.

: )

Regards,

Julia

This is correct, rife without meds is the best way to go. It takes a while but you can get there. I went cold turkey on meds and began rife (hidious time) but rife is now the only thing and there is some improvement in three months (I am out of bed finally, after 2 years).

My plan is rife, tons of detox, walking every day come rain or shine, lots of rest and living very clean life with organic food and NO NO sugar, small carb intake.

Eliminate stress as much as possible and focus on things that make you happy (biggest healer of all)!

Homeopathic remedies to detox for solvents, minerals, hydrochloric acid, methylcobalamin vitamen B-12 sublingual(source naturals), magnesium glycinate, L-glutamine, Vibe by Eniva, HCL maintenance by pharmax, Lact-Enz by Standard Process, and Primadophilus Reuteri. These are my magic things that I must have or I go downhill. In the beginning I really relied on stabilized NADH by Professional Formulas. Also a gluten-free diet and lots of water(gallon a day).

As I was reading this thread and my own responses, I realized I had left out several things I think are definitely helping:

Acupuncture. I get this once a week, and I think overall, it's doing a lot of good. (plus, it was my acupuncturist who first suspected Lyme; I give her a lot of credit for that)

Chinese herbs. My acupuncturist fits the herbs and teas around my dominant symptoms each week.

Moxa. This is a heat treatment done by the acupuncturist. I mention this specifically, because it's helping me against the constant chill I've been feeling.

Reflexology (there's a thread about this going on right now)

Also diet and meditation.

Hope this helps!

My list is different I think, somewhat.
To combat the osteoarthritis all over my body I take osteo-Bi-Flex which is glucosamine/Clondridtion(sp) and take Citrical and also suplement good quality Magnesium. (Walmart is "NOT" a good source. hence the name brands of the two first ones. The pharmacy I deal with furnishes the off the counter Magnesium which was 5 times more potent than Wally world stuff.
I took abx forever and NEVER herxed or had changes I should have had. So do I have lyme? If I dont what else would make me feel this way. Other helpful, or to be determined helpful, is the beautiful Rife machine some gracious angels bought me!!! Thank you angels!!!
Other than the direct pain meds and Tylenol I quit all my other Rx,s and am feeling okay, or better than I thought I would. But at this point those first three suplements I mentioned really work for me , without them for a couple days and I can feel it to the middle of my bones!!!Cause I just be --just don--

Magnesium - essential
L-Carnitine
Flax oil
Serrapeptase
Liquid minerals - essential
A green drink every morning
chlorella and cilantro
Cetyl myristoleate
oil of oregano
MSM
Coconut oil

For killing yeast/lyme
cat's claw
grapefruit seed extract
boswellia
colloidal silver

will probably do rife in the future
