Hi Happy Holidays
was diagnosed with lyme in October. Of course having trouble with MD's who look at you crazy. Do have an appointment with LLD in Jan, Thank the Lord, but was just wonderng if anyone else has hot red ears and if so is it a co-infection symptom? I can not get the MD's to test me for them hopefully LLD will. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Sue

My son has had red ears off and on since he was little. And most of the time, only one will be red. I always wondered what was causing it. Then we discovered his food allergies. And sure enough, if he ate something that he was allergic to one or both ears would turn red and be very hot to the touch.

He has Lyme, Mycoplasma and various other co-infections.

Best,
Karen

Red ears is a common lyme symptom, Dr. J has a picture of a large red ear in his office.

My nephew used to get this symptom alot before lyme treatment especially when he would become upset or agitated.

If this symptom comes out only when you eat certain foods, I would think it was a food allergy. But I know many people with lyme who have this symptom.
