Creepy, crawling sensations...sometimes feel like pins and needles, sometimes itchy, very hard to ignore.
Does anything help? It's driving me crazy! It's on my scalp, legs, back, arms, face.

Hi Cutie, Yes this & more many my patients & at FM groups had this type complaint. Dr. Starlynl in her best FM?Cfids book. Explains almost everything I see asked here.
I started with that as went on was like constantly being bit. Bug on me good way to have accident if driving when your slapping the crap out of yourself all over.
My Neurontin calmed alot of this down. It is still pricey. Can get in Gabba form in health food store I hear. I may have to go that route this yr. myself. My 1 friend who has spent 30 yrs. in herbal research part takes it & helps her just the Gabba.
Which neurontin is made from. Most out meds are just synthetic forms of natural products..Sometimes with less side effects. Also have potassium checked. Try upping your magnesium. These are only my opinions nothing more. Good Luck... Kerry

I had the kind of parathesis when herxing where I felt like my arm was just completely gone. It was rough and scary.
Mine got better with treatment. I get the crawly sensations sometimes still.
I would not recommend neurontin from my husband's personal experience with it. It will cover up pain and weird sensations but it will also cover up symptomology that may help you track your recovery process.
My husband had babesia but was being only treated for lyme. Went on neurontin for nerve pain and felt fine until one day the babesia got so bad and he was so sick. Had he not been on the neurontin I don't think the symptoms could have slipped by him.
I would just be real careful with that stuff. Just another opinion from my experience.

Yes, I had this; it was one of my first and most annoying symptoms which started last March. I had pins and needles/burning skin for several months. After 5 months of antibiotics, it subsided. I had other symptoms too, but the paresthesia was the last symptom to go. My LLMD told me it could take awhile. While on antibiotics, it got quite bad. I took nortriptyline for awhile and it did help. Good luck, hope you feel better.

Yes, all of the above. Seems to have diminished with my treatment. Might want to try supplementing Magnesium. Very beneficial for lyme and your health in general.

Yep, I had it too. Detox helped, especially podi patches www.akgnaturals.com, and epsom salt baths. Symptoms are almost gone now that I'm in my 18th month of treatment. hats
