In a recent thread, some was asking aout a herx. A reply stated that...

quote:
The spirochetes replicate every 3-5 wks, so you can expect a surge of die-off every month
While I can understand that each individual bug replicates at that frequency, I cannot understand how all bugs in your system could become synchronized to replicate at approximately the same time every 3-5 weeks. That post implies that they are synchronized in that there is a mass concurrent die-off.

Am I missing something? It just doesn't seem logical that there could be such a rhythm with thousands or millions of bacteria acting independantly.

thx in advance...

Not all bugs dying off create a herx. Lyme specifically releases several types of neurotoxins when it is killed and that adds to the toxic burden which inreases the symptoms of a herx. The cycle is about 28-32 days and is also often tied closely with the Lunar cycles.

So are you saying that it's the moon that impacts whether or not I can feel the die-off at any given time?

I do know that you have to hit the ketes with treatment when they are replicating .I think this is the best time for a die off.

I do know from my own personal experience that I herxed almost the whole 6 months on IV.

And still continue to herx sometimes from day one and lasting the whole deration of my oral abx
pulsing.

Maybe the abx is killing off other organisms other than the ketes 29-32 day replicating cycle.

Everyone's different.

I wish I wasn't so dumbed down and could recall the research I have read that describes how bactira communicate.Which if my memory searves me they do.

Take care
