Hey all,

I just started to get very nasuous and feeling like i was going to pass out. Then i got the chills. I took my temp......first it was 95, then 94.5, then 94.3.......10 min later it was 96.

I thought the thermometer was broke, my mom took her temp and it was 98.

I have never had temps this low.but the last 2 weeks my temp has been 96.....and saw recently any temp under 95 is hypothermia......yikes!

Ive had internal burning when i urinated today....and swelling in that area.......

My llmd appt is tomorrow at 10AM, so i just have to get thru the nite. I feel hungry and I just ate.......i just dont know.

Thoughts of going to the ER went thru my mind, but I doubt they could do anything for me.

Im just sick.

a few nights ago i had a temp of 95 for a long time. i was also nautious and felt awful. palpitations-restless leg-all kinds of things. i wondered if i had eaten something bad-i had a sandwich on the road-i knew it was really cold outside-but hours with the thermostat on 85 and under a down quitlt with the dog(tick free dog)my temp was still 95. i did the thing i have done so many times in the past. wrote my kids a note describing my symptoms and and then just put it in gods hands not knowing if i would wake up in the morning. i did. i am recuperating from surgery - not on my regular supps or meds and i ran out of my armour thyroid so i think it could be any of those things...then again maybe it is just a wierd virus since we both got similar symptoms...i'm ok and starting to sort some stuff out-today is two weeks after surgery so tomorrow i can go back to my normal routine of supps and meds. hope you are ok and your appt goes well.

This is very common in Lyme and babesia patients. I wouldn't worry night and day over it. Once you move along in your treatment, the low temps will come up.

Even after years of treatment, mine is still often 97-98. I don't let it worry me.

One thing you might need to have checked down the line is your endocrine system....thyroid, other hormones. Once you get the hormones balanced, the temps will rise.

Right now the main thing is to continue your treatment. You will get well.....it just takes alot of time and patience.

thanks LP and lymetoo.... Im not really worried about the temp....just this feeling i have....i cant even take a shower. and Im always hungry...even after i eat.

Oh and i went to an endo duck in october and he refused to run labs....said it wasnt anything, that he could help with and the general duck should keep pursuing it, but right now its nothing edocrine.

Im looking into a better endo duck....takes months for an appt, so i will just make it now.

Yes patience and positive thinking is what I need.

I don't know where you're located, but Dr C of MO handles hormone testing as well as Lyme treatment.

cantgiveupyet,

Don't give up yet! I have low temp. too. And low blood sugar. And last week my BP was 84/50!

Had a massage and acupuncture yesterday and had my "energy levels" tested - the machine was buzzing along okay for a few things and then took a dive and was barely getting a signal for me with spleen/kidney and other energy-related meridians...

Like Lymetoo I don't worry too much about the low temp. and BP. I used to freak out about it but really there's nothing to do but give treatment time. It's just an indication of the ketes invading your body and leaving your immune system totally depleted (opinion).

I see Dr. C. too and had the endocrine tests performed - wasn't producing ANY testosterone, DHEA and various corticosteroids. I tried supplementing with hormone pills and creams for a while but now I'm mostly relying on abx., Nystatin, Diflucan and probiotics and a clean diet to do the job.

Anyhow, my .02 cents. Just wanted you to know that I can relate - couldn't shower for four days last week! Haven't been out of p.j.'s today... fatigue is my worst symptom.

Healing thoughts...
