I was wondering if some of you guys experience the following.
I have always had very predictable symptom cycles. A full cycle from worst to best was about 2 weeks when i was at my worst. When i started improving, my best and my worst moments generally improced, and in addition the period for 1 full cycle also lengthened, it has increased slowlly to about 5 weeks now.
Looking forward to hear your experiences...

Most symptoms with Lyme flare with the lunar cycles and seem to be more obvious about every 28-32 days.

Exactly every 28 days like clockwork for two years.

The reason it took so long (13 years) for my diagnosis was that my cycles of Lyme symptoms occur at the same time as my period. I thought I had really bad PMS! After 9 months of treatment, it is less predictable. It seems to fade in and out all the time. Cindy

My son seems that he has a cycle of good and bad also. His is about 30 days and it is like clock work. What varies is the amount of time he is bad and how long he has a good batch.

My husband was doing SO much better about 3 weeks in to the Doxy..... had a pretty good week or so after that. Then had a big herx at approx 5 weeks. Joint pain, major rash outbreak on his face, looked awful......
It seems to feel at his worst at around 5 weeks... Hasn't felt at any point as good as he did when he first started on the Doxy. ...
Very discouraging to say the least....
He didn't have a lot of improvement with the Zith. Supposed to start Flagyl anytime now, but I'm so nervous about it....
Arrgggh......

Can anyone tell me, do the flares approx. every 4 weeks still come on that schedule even if someone is not on treatment. I don't see llmd until Feb. but I get flares of "whatever" I have about once a month. Thanks
