I have read on the site about people with Lyme Disease giving themselves B12 injections. I live in Ireland, where no-one seems to know or care about the treatment of Lyme Disease. Could anyone tell me how I go about buying B12 shots for self administration and how I give the shots myself. Is there any product that comes complete with vitamins and plunger? Would these injections increase my energy levels?
Thanks a million and hi from Ireland.

The standard form of B12, cyanocobalamin, is very inexpensive and is sold over the counter in Canada. Candian pharmacies carry it. It comes in a 30 ml. vial so you would need syringes. My experience is that it doesn't do that much for energy but it does keep apthous ulcers from forming in my mouth. If I slack off with the B12, it will cure aphthous ulcers overnight.

Others here have used methylcobalamin. It is not available pre-made here but compounding pharmacies make it. It's much more expensive and I don't have any experience with it.

Hey!
I found a good deal on Methyl, but you need a Rx. In ireland, I don't know, but they do make it compounded in England.
You may be able to have it airmailed, not sure though!
