Please note that: The absorption of quinolone antibiotics (such as ciprofloxacin and moxofloxacin), tetracycline antibiotics (including tetracycline, doxycycline, and minocycline), and nitrofurantoin is diminished when taken with magnesium supplements. Therefore, magnesium should be taken two to four hours before or after taking these medications to avoid interference with absorption.

I think this is true with just about all vitamins and supplements. They need to be spaced out with atleast 3-4 hours in between abx IMO.

I hate to say that it may be the same case as it was with cancer patients who used complementary medicine on the top of chemo and radiotherapy. Their survival rate was lower than those who stuck to conventional medicine and avoided herbs and supplements.

I bought I weekly pill organizer so I could seperate all the vitamins and medicine my son is on. The magnesium does not seem to do to much for him. We were put on it for the headaches.

I was thinking this might apply to epson salts baths because epson is a good source of magnesium..
