I really feel like these help me.......does anyone use them every day?

Do you also put on more than one on each foot?

Do you use them on other parts of your body that hurt?

Do they work or is it just a placebo effect that makes me think they work?

I bought 100 of the gold ones from ebay. About to put my second set on for the day!!!

And the smell doesn't really bother me. I have two fireplaces and it reminds of these.....not so bad. [Razz]

Hi tothepoorhouse
I use the ones gold ones and usually put one the bottom of each foot.

The maker's don't say to put on anywhere but the foot.If you want to slap on other body parts you might want to contact the manufactuer.

Here's a good site that show's where to slap them on your foot, that corralates to the problematic area you want the most work on.

Hi, To!

I've used the foot pads since I tested positive for Lyme and started treatment in June.

I have rhemuatoid arthritis in my right knee, and my LLMD said foot pads would offer my best chance of recovery.

I also get pads on ebay and have experimented with different colors on different parts of my feet (correlative to current sx).

I usually use at least four pads five or six nights a week. I tried once to put a pad on my knee, but that seemed to do nothing at all.

After 7 months, the pads continue to be as icky as the first night I used them. The swelling in my knee has almost completely subsided, though I do continue to have pain there.

Honestly, I wouldn't do without this part of my recovery.

Hope this is helpful.

Andie

Andie:

I am curious as to how you know that it is the pads which have helped your knees. Could it be other medications?

TIA,
Suzanne

I use them everyday. Just one on each foot although I'm tempted to try using 4 like Andie does.

A few times I tries them on my ankle when my ankles hurt a lot. It didn't work well so I just use them on the soles of my feet.

These patches have been an assential part of my recovery. I feel a difference as soon as I put them on, the vibrating, electrical feelings go away, I sleep through the night and wake up feeling much better. Before I started the patches I had to get up to pee 3-4 times each night. With the patches I make it to 6:30 or sometimes don't get up to pee at all. I have much deeper sleep too.

Hi,

The foot pads have essential oils in them, that can help to kill the Lyme bacteria while detoxifying your body.

In my opinion, you can't overdo it. I used essential oils as the major portion of my treatment. And I massaged them in (diluted in vegetable oil) anywhere I had a problem. I took hot baths with them in my bathwater.

They were essential to my recovery. I highly recommend essential oil therapy, whether it is foot pads, massages, liniments, baths, etcetera, for Lyme Disease.

Many people are concerned about the aroma of the essential oils stirring up their chemical sensitivities, but they actually made my chemical sensitivities subside.

I recently started using the gold pads, and put two on each foot. My feet do feel better the next morning (I only wear them overnight), but I'm not sure I feel better in general.

However, I wanted to let everyone know I also put one on the palm of each hand last night bec my hands and wrists have been aching a lot after a big herx I had this month, and my hands felt much better this morning. I had tried putting one under each wrist earlier in the week, but that didn't help at all, and the pads never got gooey.

I think I'll try it again tonight and maybe put one over the palm side of my fingers.

Hi,
Whether it's a plecebo effect or not I noticed a grest difference in my overall energy level and cognitive function after using the detox foot pads.

We must have all read the same posts about the ebay seller cheapdetoxpads, that's where I've gotten mine.

I've only tried them on my feet. I've tried different areas of the foot according to the reflexology map but couldn't tell you which area seemed to give the most benefit.

I've tried the gold and blue ones and I think I would only purchase the gold ones in the future.

I've been using one or two on each foot just about every night and I have to say I do feel a difference if I don't use them.

Psychosamatic or real I couldn't tell you but for me they work

Here's to Sticky feet!!
Good luck to you
Sue

I know,if someone told me a year ago that I would be slappin detox foot pads on my feet,I would have thought they where kidding me.I am one big time skeptic.

Being a skeptic,I did the start and stop test, and yes they really do work.

At Christmas I was using two pads on each foot to help me pull out of a herx and it did, with no side effects, except maybe a little poorer for using so many.

I use them less since I started detoxing daily with far infrared but I still think they are a good adjunctive therapy for many people. I get mine from www.HealthMarvels.net.
