i am not otherwise ill except for having a headache radiating frontally and at the back of my head, which i tend to get a lot of, assumed to be how i have sinus problems very frequently (more than once every month)... i am also very agitated and blowing up at everyone. i don't know if it is because of my life situation or not, but since i tend to bounce back from incapacitated apathy to this, and these are the only emotions i have, and they are both without active precipitating factors. i cannot in either mode think or do anything at all other than lie in bed or pace. now i am having the vomiting... which my drinking water makes much worse, while no one else in the building seems to have a problem with it.

Hi Daniel, sorry to read you are having such a bad and sick time.
Could you edit/PENCIL icon your above post to 6-8 lines of text per paragraph & DOUBLE space between them for us chronic lymies who can't read & comprehend as you have it. Thanks so much.

Daniel,
I have no idea whether the vomiting is due to Lyme, although I did have an unusual episode out of the blue many years ago.
It sounds to me like you risk becoming dehydrated which can be very serious, even life threatening. If you haven't yet, you probably need to get to an emergency room to have this symtom managed.
Let us know how you are doing.

I am sorry you are having this.I had to deal w/ the stomach issues.
Make sure to check w/ you Dr. about this.
I had to live on ginger ale, crackers for awhile.
I used Phenegran to help w/ the tummy too.It would help me sleep and did help to manage the migranes. My migraines were so bad, they actually brought on some of the nausea.
Controlling those headaches cut back on some of the stomach issues.
For me,it was Lyme related.
Make sure to check w/ a Dr.I remember when my gallbladder acted up.I could NOT even drink water.Mine was so shot,it had to go.
I agree w/ David, seek some help. Not being able to keep water down is serious!
Good luck,hope you feel better.

That's how my Lyme started after my first known tick bite. I couldn't even hold down the nausea meds. My doc said water isn't good for severe vomiting. Switch from water to milk and switch the nausea meds from orals to suppositories.

Hi Danieib Have you called your doctor? You should call him ASAP> Be careful you don't become dehydrated or loose to much of your elctrolites. This could be a serious problem with vomiting. Please call as soon as you can. Take care

Daniel,
Are you taking meds? If yes, are you taking them with food?

How's your weight been over the last several months?
What has your diet been like during the same time?
What has your diet been like over the course of your life, ie. Italian? German? Fast food? Organic?
What has been your history of cholesterol levels, and what are they recently?
What supplements and/or pharmacueticals do/are you taking?
Do your headaches come and go? Certain times of day/evening?
For sinus infection I strongly recommend SinoFresh one spray per nostril 3x morning-noon-right before bed. At least two months of this.

Dana has good points. Dehydration and electrolytes are serious concerns. See a doctor.

This may be obvious to you, but have you tried changing water supplies? Perhaps buying drinking water for a while?
That would at least rule out that possibility. I do think taking care in what you are eating with certain meds may be key.
Check with your doctor or check your meds online to see whether you can eat or not with what you're taking....for me not eating with doxy made me lose it everytime.

The headache and sinus problems makes me think babs. Also I used to have almost projectile vomiting at times until I treated that particular coinfect. In retrospect I think I was choking on snot from the sinus drainage.
FWIW

Well, I believe it is...I vomited from October 2003 to April 2004. This was every day and several times a day and night. I went off all drugs and it did not stop, so it wasn't any drugs that I was one.
I actually got to looking so thin that finally folks believed that I was really sick with something serious. They just didn't believe me before...but, my family knew the truth, that I was a very sick, sick person with LD.

I doubt it's related to lyme UNLESS you are having migraine headaches- those can come with vomiting.
If it's not migraines then it could be related to another tick born disease, or giardia.
The mood changes could be lyme. or bart or babs or ??

Have you had your gallbladder checked.
I believe that lyme messes gallbladders up.
IV Rocephin can cause gallstones...but my daughter had bad digestive problems before rocephin.
She did have GB removed.
Hope you get some answers and relief soon!

I am having no luck finding a single doctor that doesn't think my problems are personality disorder derived Munchausen Syndrome. I think the impression I give with my having severe gender identity probles only makes this worse as they keep bringing it up, when I really don't think it needs to be any of their business. I am looking for help functioning. Given the fact that my gender identity is beyond my mental capacity to even address right now should only outline to them how my brain cannot even work right now. I am not vomiting now, I am not drinking any of the water either now, I am hunched over, in my apartment confused, and cannot settle myself down and keep my face still.

Daniel, Please forgive me if I am mistaken but it doesn't appear that you have posted under "Seeking a Doctor." All other things being typical, the likelihood of getting a non-specialist in TBIs test and treat you aggressively are probably slim. There are several people in Canada who post here. They may be able to offer you some leads. Next point, IMHO when dealing with ducks it's better not to give them too much to think about. They say "Tell your doctor everything." Well bull----. If you give them an easy way to dismiss your concerns, they will. So I never give them ammunition. In your case, you do not tell them about gender issues, depression, anxiety, drug use, or life problems. Any of these can become "the cause" of your concerns. When you walk into the office don't give them extra information. If asked, you are 110% male and 110% heterosexual. If beyond a certain age, you aren't single, you are divorced. Ever suffered with depression? NEVER! Ever use recreational drugs? NEVER! Ever had anxiety problems? NEVER! Ever had an STD? NEVER! If you can convince him you played hockey, that will probably help. Generally speaking, I think that complaining of more than three symptoms highly increases the odds of being labelled a head case. Keep it simple. This is an unfair characterization of about 5% of physicians. Above all, you need a doctor who actually treats TBIs.
