I am having those sharp shocks on the bottoms of my feet...like a pin prick with electricity running through it. Makes my leg jerk a tiny bit---OUCH!

It has been years since I have had this. I had it really bad during IV treatment with Rochephin 2001.

I thought I read around here that this was a sure symptom of one of the coinfections. is it-which one?
[Wink]
thanks

Hi Trails!

I have read somewhere that foot involvement can be a Bartonella or Bartonella type infection...?

I attribute the pain in my arches to this- but I'm no LLMD-

I seem to be herxing on Levaquin- so supports this perhaps...

Have you been treated for Bartonella?

Also have you tried the detox foot patches- perhaps it's toxin build up?

Hope this helps!

Cheerio,
Sarah

I was told it was bart. I had bart and was treated. Feet are good now.

HI Trails~ [hi]

I'm fairly certain (but too tired to check for sure) that Dr. B states that sore soles in the a.m. is one indication of Bartonella. He doesn't mention shock sensations....just sore soles.

I can have shock sensations mostly in my legs and feet...but occasionally elsewhere.

I had a Lymie-friendly neurologist ask about that symptom, out of the blue. It is definitely a real symptom of something-or-other. You might want to visit a neurologist for this one.

Mercury and other heavy metals accumulate (specific weight) often in the lower body compartments: lower jaw, reproductive area (prostate, ovarian cysts, bladder, etc.) and feet. These are dominant areas for the critters because of the metal accumulations which are easily identified with ART. The research is available. Feet very common. Look around - people with walking problems everywhere. Plantar
fascitis (sp?)

These areas can be activated with Neural Therapy which then helps mobilize the metals and forces the microbes out. Many a serious prostate problem eliminated when gland is detoxed.

Electric shock problems - also think metals. I had them - not just in the feet, but in many other areas. Lyme is comfortable where the metals are.

Take care.

Thanks everyone!

I just want to clarify: I dont have aches or pains or anything like that on the feet or bottoms of the feet. I had plantar fascitis once when I was running too much. LOL -that is NOT happening now people!

the symptom is VERY MUCH nerve related--short sharp shocks (thank you pink floyd) that FEEL like they are coming from the bottoms of the feet, but you know how NERVE pain can be, could be coming from my NECK really.

I mean nerve pain is not the same as other pain and can seem like it is happening in one place but you find out it is from some nerve root in you upper spine.

I could swear I have seen somewhere that this specific shock thing on the bottoms of feet was a certain coinfection.

Hmmmm...

I know it isnt anything else nuero coz I had it before treating this in 2001. And it went away TOTALLY for 5 years now.

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions.
Force,
trails

I get these. After 3 years of lyme treatment, I still DONT know what is doing it. I can say, it started before I was put on abx, increased dramatically once on them, and when I stay off them, it leaves me alone now.
I treated bart, babs, lyme, yeast.
Believe it or not, if I "play" with my one VERY BAD mercury filling in my mouth ( yes its coming out) I can GET my foot ( and up my calf) to buzz.
It also buzzes dramatically before my period.

I honestly dont know what is the culprit. I wish I did. But it is MUCH better now. It used to be non stop and other people could feel it.

I also get the electric shock feeling. I get it in my hands and it runs up my arm like I was working with an electric outlet and got a shock. I never told anyone of it because it just sounds crazy. Thankfully it doesn't happen that often. But it is very strange thing.
