Hi,

I'm learning braille, and I found that it's a lot easier for me to read than print. It doesn't hurt my eyes and I can focus on it much longer than reading print.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried this or if it might be helpful for anyone else.

Hi Holly, thanks for posting. To help others understand more, I'm going to copy/paste part of a PM to me where you told me about this, and wondered if anyone else might find this helpful to themselves. Since you've had no responses, I wanted to make sure you gone at least 1 response.

"I found out something interesting last night. I have headaches nearly everyday, and they're worse when I study. I thought it was the thinking too hard and focusing on what I was learning that was hurting so much.

I knew my eyes hurt too, but I thought the headaches were from the thinking. I'm studying to become a braille transciber, and I ordered some books in braille recently.

I've been reading the braille by sight, and still have the headaches. But last night I tried reading it just by feeling it in the dark, and my head felt much better!

I'm not sure what any one else would think of this, or if it could do any of you any good. But I was excited about it. I LOVE to read, but I've nearly given it up entirely since I got sick because it hurts so badly.

Do you think that's something that could help any of you? I'm not sure what anyone else would think of that. I was just excited about it and had to tell someone."
