I know this may sound strange, but I can not explain this recent feeling. I feel like there is an electrical field around me almost all of the time. I mostly feel it when I am outside - I think that there is a misting but it will be dry and crystal clear out - not a cloud or a sprinkler in sight! I feel this odd current. I know....it does sound strange, but I wondered if I was alone in this or not.

No Chris...you are not crazy, I feel all kinds of electrical sensations. I am also highly susceptible to static elctrical shocks. Much more than otheres around me.

I vibrate and feel electric pricks all over my body sometimes.

You are not crazy ..... this is part of lyme and co.

I have it too. At one point a few years ago, it was so bad that it totally paralyzed my leg and I couldn't make a step until the current passed.

Now, it's better. I hope it just goes away completely for you, me, and everyone!

Electrogalvanism produced by different metals in the mouth send strange signals everywhere in the body. That is emphasized when you stand next to metal objects. Such as the stainless steel sink and stove! or hairdryer, electric razor, on and on. Don't use electric blankets and electric headting pads.

Have yourself tested for heavy metals. If you have metals in your teeth along with amalgam fillings - that's where you need to look.

Take care.

Thank you so very much for your support! I really felt I was nuts - not knowing what things are lyme related or not. [kiss]

I felt it as the kind of tingling that is right at the end of when your foot has "fallen asleep," and it is just about all the way back, just a little tingling left. That is how I experienced it. Vibrating, on the inside.

It is nervous system involvement -- neuroborreliosis -- as cave said.

Take care,
Shaz

Before treatment it happened to me - always at the same time every night - felt like I had been plugged into an electrical socket...

Mine is more like a zzzzzzzzzztttttt and a pulsing through my body all the time. Sometimes I hear music, sometimes I hear electricity, sometimes I can hear a clock ticking two rooms away. It kind of goes along with the mini-apparitions - the nonexistent orange cat, the real cat in three different places, all those "now you see them, now you don't".....love dharma

Electrogalvanism

When two dissimilar metals are placed in a solution containing conductive ions, a battery is created. There will be a flow of electrons from one metal to the other and a flow of metal ions from the other metal to the one. The saliva in the mouth is electrically conductive due to the mineral content. Even two alike-looking amalgam fillings that are not placed on the same day are likely to have a different composition. The same applies for gold fillings/crowns.

Unless a whole mouth restoration has been done with the exact same batch of a dental material, the problem of electrogalvanism is present in the patient's mouth when there is more than one metal-containing restoration.

Electrogalvanism frequently is the cause of lack of concentreation and memory, insomnia, psychological problems; tinnitus, vertigo, epilepsy, hearing loss and eye problems, to name just a few.

Since high dental currents lead to galvanic erosion of the restoration materials, this problem hardly ever exists without co-existing problems of heavy metal toxicity.

These are comments by Dr. K. at a recent seminar. Electrogalvanism is easily tested with ART.

It is a very common problem. I used to have quite a number of the symptoms listed above.

Take care.
