A few antibiotics and a lot of Freeze-dried Garlic
This a list of drugs and supplements I took and the various therapies that accompanied them.
All were tested with ART (muscle tested) before I took any. If a remedy did not test well for me with ART, no matter how well it may have worked on other patients, I would not take them (including antibiotics). I takes a good ART practitioner a few minutes to test this. Many other (mainly herbal) agents have been found beneficial since I was ill and you will not find them on here. I got well without the ``newest''.
This points to the emphasis on ``cleanup your body and, in particular, clean up the mouth''. It happened frequently that antibiotics did not test positive for me with ART - so I would not take them, but just wait a few weeks or months. Most antibiotics, except as noted, I took for a month or two, repeating as needed. I n e v e r never took anything constantly/every day, thereby avoiding becoming incompatible or allergic to a supplement, herb, drug, or remedy. My total length of consuming abx was approx. 6-8 months distributed over approx. five years. 2-1/2 month was IV Rocephin that an ID doctor prescribed for me, long before I found Dr. K. to treat me and help me out of my desperate condition. I was still in pain and sick and in a brain fog.
When I then first met Dr. K. and was ``urging'' him to give me more antibiotics, his answer was ``if I knew they would help you, I would gladly give them to you. But it is obvious that they are not at this time. Let's do some other things first." The other thing was my teeth and root canals.
Had all 12 root canals, crowns and bridges removed, i.e. all metals out of my mouth; and cavitations cleaned out.
That's what started me on the road to wellness. That was followed by detoxing every cell of my body of the horrible toxins I had accumulated over a lifetime, mainly because of my root canals. Mercaptans and thioethers are carcinogens and the most toxic substance for the human body. These are produced mainly by the root canals. Most cancers start on that level.
My treatment regimen changed every few weeks or every few months. What tested with ART as the dominant problem in my body, that is what was treated. If I tested positive for metals, metal treatment was done. If I tested positive for viruses, that was addressed. If I tested positive for parasites with ART, that problem was addressed. Oftentimes the treatments ran alongside each other as long as one med or supplement did not negate the other(s) which often happens. One supplement or medicine can wipe out the positive of all.
Here follows my regimen:
Rocephin IV 2-1/2 months Amoxicilin- 3 weeks Cefuroxamine Hyaluronic Acid Tinidazole/Metronidazole Cipro Amantadine Vanco for a serious staph infection contracted in the hospital
Artemisinin by Holley Pharm.(worked well)
Garlic Freeze Dried - 12 pills a day for a very long time, pausing, then for another very long time, etc.
Ecomer Shark Liver Oil (antiviral) - 2 months Seacure - 2 months Essential oils (internal and external) - little Pesticide and Chemical Protocol (proprietory) - 48 day program of Dr. K. Essential Fatty Acids/fish oil / lots - for brain recovery
Heavy metal detox - DMPS (total of three injections over several months, IV and IM only when ART tested Cilantro tincture (lots), Chlorella pyrenoidosa (lots), PCA, NDF - only after removal of all amalgams. I will always take chlorella for maintenance and for its health benefits. Mineral IV's Vitamin C plus mineral IV's Colloidal silver - 30 days Silver and hydrogen peroxide protocol - would not ever touch it again Aurosol (gold) Probiotics (Pharmax) lots Inuflora Liver Support / Pharmax/BioRay Lymphomiosot (creme and pills for drainage Horsetail tea and other detox teas Cholestyramine (little) Betasitosterol (lots) Olive Leaf Extract / early/ lots/ very disappointing B Complex- one month IM - never orally B12 - 2 months MSM - 2-3-4 grams a day Rechts-Regulat ( superior to anything we tried before such as Wobenzyme, etc.) Multi Mins from Biotics - lots Natural Salt (Hunza Salt and Real Salt - all the time)- avoid `` sea salt'' Hormone homeopathics Antiviral Chinese (etc.) herbal treatments - six weeks intense NADH IV's Hepa Merz (L-Ornithine) IV's) Glutathione combined with other substances IV SpiroNil / teasel Lyme nosodes Parasite cleanse - Herbal/Arise and Shine; Sputnik, Albendazole, Cesol Sanum Remedies Lyme Protocol Goat Whey, freeze dried, for balancing minerals and trace minerals
Enderlein homeopathics Electrolites - always Lyme Transfer Factor - one bottle - too expensive and doubtful Folic Acid - briefly Occasionally a vitamin and/or mineral that tested deficient with ART or it became obvious that we should have it Magnesium and calcium - daily Below are most of the therapies that I received over a 5-6 year period which played major role in my recovery:
Neural Therapy (often with procaine and/or DMPS to detox) into the areas where microorganisms lived; king-pin of all treatment modalities. Prolo TherapyCranial-sacral treatments (lots) Lymph drainage (lots) Colonics (often) Coffee enemas (few) Bee Venom injections/pricks (a few months) microcurrent-rife/ with most updated frequencies as in S21, KMT22 or KMT240 (not Rife/RF, etc., but microcurrent which is a current in a biological range that is healing). Avoidance of Microwave, Electrosmog from TV, computer, shutdown fuses into sleeping areas during nights; all chemicals (house and garden) preservatives/food coloring, etc., cosmetics (major role). Control of geopathic stress exposure. With neurological damage, these are the most important issues, even more so when heavy metal toxic. Electromagnetism and geopathic stress are intolerable when heavy metal toxic. They become a killer to the brain.
We eat all foods, including a lot of fruits and vegetables, but avoid processed foods, avoiding preservatives and artifical anything. I cook and bake with solid old-fashioned ingredients - eggs, sugar (cut most recipes down to 1/3 sugar).
Everything in moderation, including coffee, sugar, etc. We try to eat a variety. Not chicken only - like some people do. Chicken today contains arsenic, unless you trust the farmer that raises them organically. ********************* No, we are not wealthy. I worked all my life for over forty years. We raised children. My husband retired at age 70 when he contracted Lyme from me. We used our savings because Medicare neither pays for ART or anything else. We just did it and learned to do with less otherwise. We learned.
This is now some 4-5 years later - things have changed. Doctors (some only, sadly) have learned more - we have learned more - and we will learn more as we go along.
I need to add that if we manage to get rid of the accumulations of toxic metals and toxic chemicals in us and around us, putting our emotional house in order and creating an energetically healthy environment for ourselves, healing from Lyme Disease is very possible. I am proof of that. So is my husband. Even late in life.

Wow. You must be Dr. K's poster child, LOL.
It is clear to me from this post just how instrumental the ART muscle testing was for you in determining what to take and when. I suspect it saved you more grief and aggravation than you can imagine.
Scott, if you read this, are all of your treatments/supplements ART tested before you take them, also?
When I run out of the garlic & allicin I am taking, I'm going to get some of the BioPure stuff. Sounds like it is much more bang for the buck.

I have everything tested locally with electro-dermal screening and have had for almost a year. I had them all tested with ART in January when I first was introduced to ART and have another appointment in about four weeks to do it again. So, yes, I do use ART, but it is not as readily available and I have to travel to Washington to do it with a practitioner that I feel is really good at it....

She is slightly more interested since she has again started to loose a lot of hair..

Anyone know why "sea salt" is a bad thing, compared to Real Salt or the Hunsa salt? I've been adding a little sea salt to my water, plus some ionic trace minerals.

Most sea salt is not clean. Our oceans are not clean - sadly. Sea salt is often cleaned and refined and contains additives that are not desirable.

JimB, Cipro was one of those things that addressed an "unknown" "unspecified" infection that showed up with ART testing. Dr. K. uses a testing kit that contains a number of the dominant infections that occur with Lyme: More than just the normal BB, Ehrlichiosa, Babesia, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Bartonella and Nanobacteria.
I tested ART positive for one of the infections and Cipro happened to resonate with this particular infection. I took it for about 3 weeks and stopped then.
I cannot tell you whether it had any specific effect on me at that time. I just know that #1, I never had a really tough reaction that I could call a herxheimer on anything I took; and #2, we must have eliminated another microbe at that time, because treating me in this manner, we eventually wiped out all overgrowth of microbes that in sum, all together, made me sick.
That is the beauty of ART. We treat our own eco-system.
By the way, stick with your herbs. The herbal program Dr. K. uses has been effective and is effective this very day. He uses an array of many, always based on which ones test positive with ART on a particular patient. The Buhner herbs are a part of this total program. Two herbs are dominant with almost every patient: the PC-Noni (not the juice) for intracellular microbes; and the PC-Samento for the rest. With these, the others are "woven" into, stopped once in a while, added back in, etc.
The herbal program is slow. And many Americans have a problem with it because they want the bang- bang treatment that does usually not work. They have been sick for years, but for some reason the slow, gentle and eventually very curing approach doesn't appeal to them.
Whatever you do, do not think that you can go around, avoid, delay, or "do when I have money" dental work. The people that do stay sick and rarely get well until they address the teeth. That's where the bugs are, oxygenated blood can't reach them, and they multiply undisturbed.
Same with parasites that have overgrown.

P.S. I always use some herbs - for prevention. Knowing that we can culture Lyme spirochetes from every door handle swob or public telephone swob, I am not taking any chances (at my advanced age or at my husband's advanced age of 80)

Dana, you c get the PC-Noni (not the juic) at Biopure. Ask them for their write-up on it also; it tells you what it does and how to take it. There is nothing easier. Many people take it with PC-Samento in their daily drinking water. Get the write-up at least for that. Many Dr. K. patients are treating themselves with these. There of course are the other herbals that we know about. Take care.

Great post. I'm new on the board, but have been "lurking" for several months.
Husband dx. with lyme in Jan.05 and with 4 other tic diseases. His llmd has had him on a variety of abx., but we don't see a lot of improvement.
Just started Rechts-Regulat, and ordered a KMT 24 (it's the latest version of the 23).
We are going to his llmd tomorrow to get the results of a heavy metal's test. Have read that metals aren't always excreted but have to assume that they are still present if silver amalgams are present. Am hoping for something clear cut.
In Dr. K's opinion, is anyone too sick to get their fillings out? Thanks so much.

A couple of questions:
- The PC-Samento...should that be taken in place of Cat's Claw capsules I am currently using, or would it be wise to take both??
- The KMT devices...I'm confused as to what's going on with them. I read a recent post that said the KMT 23 is the latest one. Now I'm reading that there's a KMT 24.
Last fall the newest device was called the Matrix - something. It was supposed to be the newest and best, AND it was to be priced at something a bit more affordable - $995.
I ordered it and I've never heard anything.
I'm failing miserably. The treatment I'm on now (Bactrim DS + mino) is not working and I don't know what else to do but turn to the Klinghardt protocol and Bruhner-suggested herbs.
I'm worried, confused and can't think. I saw on here that one or two people were having problems with the KMT not working properly.
Can someone enlighten me as to what the true situation is with the KMT devices?

These are my comments based on my experience - I am not a doctor.
1) I would probably not take both PC Samento and Cat's Claw personally.
2) KMT24 is the latest - coming out this month. The price is about 1350 for the KMT23 and not sure, but I think comparable for the 24.
