They have a series of Lyme remedies, which looks like are nosodes of Borrelia, Babesia Microti & Ehrlichia to be taken in succession of low to high potenices over a period of weeks.

My integrative PT suggested it, but my understanding has been that nosodes were better for prevention, not the best for treating late-stage. ?

But it tests VERY well on me through ART, so I guess it's worth a shot. I also like how it includes the Babesia and Ehrlichia.

Anyone ever try it? Deseret Biologicals Borrelia Remedy (click on first Borrelia remedy)

I am using it now. I have used several boxes. I think it makes me feel better.

I take a vial of the remedy one day, the next day i rife, and the next day i take off. I was making progress with this, but, i quit doing it because i was feeling better.

Hope it helps you.

Hi Jordan, thanks - your results are encouraging! I was actually wondering whether it would be ok to combine it with Rife. I know homeopathics are so sensitive to certain energies. I hope you continue to get better and better each day [Cool]

I started my lyme treatment with an MD who used homeopathics. I felt so good on them and the brain fog and migraines cleared right up, but the arthritis increased. After 5 mths I had to move on to other treatments.

I miss the homeopathics and hope once I am well to take them as my source of vitamins and minerals.

SunRa,

No problem. I hope it helps you.

I was told it was best to use rife the day after the first treatment.

Hang in there,

Jordan

i have the deseret borrelia remedy, prescribed by my LLMD, but haven't taken it yet. also wondering what others think of it. strangely, the remedy actually starts with the strongest dilutions (200x) and you take one vial every three days until you reach the lowest (5x). my doc said some patients have had good results with it.

luvs2ride ~ thanks for sharing, were you taking the borrelia remedies or other homeopathics? I love homeopathy, but so far haven't had success treating lyme with it. But I know it does take patience.

Melanie ~ HI so nice to "see" you! miss you, hope you're still improving!

Foggy ~ hey how are ya? i know, I havent been here in quite a while...unfortunately not because I'm feeling better though [Frown] It's been a long and rough road and I'm still struggling. It's been tough for me to use the computer as much as I used to, but I'm getting lonely and missed you guys, so hoping to post a bit more here and there.

I *think* the ingredients are nosodes of the actual borrelia, babesia, and ehrlichia pathogens. Nosodes are supposed to stimulate the immune system to react to the specific diseases, often used in place of vaccines.

Cate ~ I think I'm gonna start it sometime next week. I'd love to keep in touch and compare reactions if you decide to try it.

thanks for the responses. Anyone else have experience with these?

Healing thoughts to you all [Smile]

SunRa, I've tried the borrelia nosodes, didn't seem to make any difference. Tried different potencies, but as I felt nothing, stopped them after a few months.

I think it's because my basic problem was babesiosis, not borrelia. I would gladly give the nosodes of babesia a try then.

I always use homeopathy for many ailments, it works wonders with me and my family for years.

I use both self medication (work for all) and very personal medication (prescribed by a professional).

I'm still using it for enhancing my immune system, but under doctor's prescription (personal treatment). I can't live without homeopathy unless I fell 100% alright.

But you gave me a good idea (babesia nosodes), impossible to find here in Europe as far as I know.

Oh, I just checked the site and it's only for Babesia microti, not Babesia divergens (more common in Europe than microti)...

Pity....

Have there been any adverse reactions to these tinctures? Are Nosodes attenuated and safe unlike the bb Vaccine?

Thanks SunRa, I'd love to compare notes.

One of the reasons I've not yet taken the remedy is what Foggy mentions -- the nosodes are made from actual borrelia, babesia microti, and ehrlichia. I do not yet have a clear diagnosis of any of these, though symptomatically my doc suspects lyme. So I'm a little nervous about taking a homeopathic made directly from them. Call me paranoid, but I do worry...

hardynaka ~ thanks for your reply...I too find homeopathy to work wonders for many ailments. Since homeopathy is more common in Europe than in the US, maybe it would be worth searching around for a nosode of that specific Babesia strain ? Have you tried any of the remedies specific for Malaria? Babesia is one of my main problems too, and sooo tricky to treat [Frown]

Foggy & Cate ~ I believe nosodes are extremely safe. Many alternative doctors & veternarians who are anti-vaccinations will try them due to their high level of safety.

In quickly researching this topic, I found that some conservative doctors' & researchers' main issue with the method is that they believe the nosodes simply don't work, not that people have adverse reactions. I'm no expert though... it would be best to consult with a knowledgeable homeopath.

Also, the actual amount of pathogenic material in a remedy is so minute, even non-existant due to the dilution process. It's more the "energy" of the pathogen that our body reads.

and yes...as far as CrimeofLyme goes, I suppose sitting on the phone while she pukes would categorize us as friends [Eek!]

Healing thoughts to you all!

Hi Nancy!! it's so nice to see you [Smile] Unfortunately I'm not doing well at all and have been off here for a while for a few reasons, but mainly because using the computer has been more difficult for me lately.

However, I found myself feeling more isolated and depressed without this support group, so I'm hoping to connect with you all again and will post more as I can. Send me a PM or email whenever you're up to it and let me know how things are going with you!

SurRa, yes homeopathy is more used here in Europe but not nosodes. Many homeopaths are against the use of it as they are not part of classic homeopathy.

I don't think there are babesia nosodes here, as doctors think babesia is an extreme rare disease and only affects people without spleen. Had seen so many doctors, they all tell the same story for me.

I will try to test with ART if my strain is, by chance, microti and not divergens... Then will certainly give it a try!!

My homeopath prescribed me nosodes for borrelia (he doesn't know about babesia) and said they are totally inofensive (meaning, the bug is totally disactivated).

You can buy borrelia nosodes anywhere here (Belgium, Germany) without any prescription, but would be advisable to do it with guidance, just in case the thing works and you get worsening of symptoms.
