I have been feeling very weird this whole week, like my head is too heavy for the rest of my body. There is a lot of pressure in it but no headache.

I have had vision problems for a while now (blurred vision in R eye) but this week by vision is dimmed and i could see the light of what i looked at when i look at something else (like when a camera flashes in your eyes.

My eyes feel spastic. extra blinky.. and my left middle finger is shaking on its own. i also have jerky movements in the night that prevent me from getting proper sleep.

Twice this weekend i felt as if i was going to pass out in public places. My chest is bothering me as well, like i can't get a deep breath.

I do not have a lyme dx yet, but my symptoms really match it.. i am preparing to be tested with igeneX.

This week i had a strep infection so went on zithromax (5 pack) and colloidal silver (1 tsp a day)-- this was when all these funky symptoms started.

Does this sound like it could be a herx? My appetite decreased as well and i had night sweats the other night. I am very scared i have a brain tumor or something-- i have gotten very paranoid since all these symptoms started. I am 19.

Any adviced would be kindly appreciated.

Hi Michelle,

Sooo sorry you are suffering. It sounds like you are herxing. Night sweats are usually a symptom of babesia.

I had tremendous pressure in my head for 2 years when I first got sick in 1983, along with all the other lyme symptoms.

I don't know specifically what causes the pressure, but mine was definitely not from a brain tumor and I doubt whether that is what is causing the pressure in your head. Of course let your doctor tell you what it going on.

The air hunger and low blood pressure was with me for 2 years also. Again usually from babesia. Sound like you definitely have lyme and co-infections. I know it's scary, and it feels like you are going to die, but your not.

Lyme disease just makes you feel that way. Go to the newbie links for lots of good info. Do you have an LLMD?

There are lots of caring and knowledgeable people here to help you.

Michelle, you could be the poster girl for lyme/babesia symptoms. [Big Grin]
Classic stuff. Not to worry, once you get hooked up with the right doc it's all treatable.

Don't worry about the brain tumor, it's the
symptoms of these rotten diseases. [bonk]

Sounds like your having a herx as well.

I had all those same symptoms before treatment. Some of them have gone away, but not completely.

Oddly, when I really "crashed" for the first time, it was after I'd been given a Z pack for a terrible sore throat I'd gotten. It was about the worst sore throat I think I've ever had. I'd already had hand tremors for which I was being by a neurologist. After the Z pack, I got better, but not really well.

About a week later, my left leg started feeling weak, and I had a headache and my left eye started drooping. I ended up being admitted to the hospital and started going downhill from there.

I feel for you, but after you're being treated w/abx for a while, you'll start feeling better. Are you on abx for Lyme yet?
