or is that possible?

I think that it is possible depending on the dose that you started with. It's also possible that you are allergic to sulphur, and that's what it is. That's why some people respond poorly to glutathione. It's a sulphur compound also. You can try reducing the dose to see how you do with it. It does help you to detox, so maybe that's what was happening? [Cool]

Yes, it is possible.

I'm allergic to sulphur. No matter how much MSM I take, I never get any allergic hives or respiratory problems.

My experience with MSM has been that initially it gives herx reactions and over time will aid most abx to do its work.

Thanks Micul and Meg, I notice my breathing is actually better and alot less pain and stiffness after only 2 days. I think I started out with too high a dose (3000)/day and read today it's recommended that the first week 500/day is best.Overall I think this works pretty well (so far anyway)thanks again, kt

I think almost any supplement that has a high sulphur content seems to have an impact on Lyme disease when I use it. I think a lot of minerals have natural antibiotic properties including sulphur. I don't know if it is purely because it stimulates our immune system or if sulphur actually kills bacteria, or if it helps create a negative environment for the spirochetes.
