Bea suggested a couple weeks ago after looking over my notes in my site, that I might be missing something in my treatment. She recommended to repost my symptoms and meds here for input.

I was tested for co-infections which came up negative, but it's possible I might still have something going on there?

These are .pdf files:
http://www.scottsbt.com/maureen/momisc/lyme/Mo_Symptom_List.pdf
http://www.scottsbt.com/maureen/momisc/lyme/Med_Chart.pdf

I admit to being a little over-organized with the charts but otherwise I can't remember diddly [Smile]

So....if anyone has the time (and patience) to look it over, input is welcome. Anything that gets me closer to well is welcome, at this point!

Miz Mo,

I noticed that you had marked night sweats, chest/abdominal pain, and air hunger. These are classic bab symptoms. How prominent are these symptoms?

Best wishes!

Hmm...Not as prominent as they used to be.

I was on Doxy for a year and they gradually decreased. Then went to Cipro (both of those for chronic kidney infection).

Since I started the Ketek/Cipro combo they haven't occurred as often...I don't think I've had the chest/arm pain more than once over the last 2-3 months.

Does Babs test neg like lyme does?

Hi Miz

The tests for coinfections are

I'd agree on the babs treatment. Reading your chart you have classic symptoms of babs.

Zithromax along with either:
Mepron or
Malarone or
Quinine or
Plaquenil
taken in conjunction with artemisinin.

In my son's case, after he was treated for babesia we quickly realized that 70% of his symptoms were babs, only about 30% lyme.
