Hubby just got his igenex results...CDC positive for IgG and IND for IgM--we paid out of pocket for Igenex. (Quest results were no bands at all!)

Doc reluctantly put him on doxy for three weeks. He doesn't have many symptoms (but I got deathly ill with CDC pos. IgM.)

Should we get hubby to llmd?

Thanks!

clearly time to get help! is this his first time with symptoms and pos results?

3 weeks is just the beginning, and make sure the dose is high enuf to help 300plusperday.... others here have even more experience.

not a doctor...just trying to help a little...

best of luck...be well.

Yes, LLMD clearly. I would do nothing otherwise. Three weeks of doxy will do little to nothing.

But what if he doesn't have symptoms? Does he still need llmd and high doses?

That is always the debate. I am not sure there is a good answer. If you are sick also, and he is not treated, chances are that you will not get well. You will get reinfected. I would get an LLMD and then make the decision on how to treat with a knowledgeable person or consider the herbal options if asymptomatic.

Run, don't walk to an LLMD.
