If you are on mepron, you are better off taking doxycycline. It's a highly respected malaria drug, people can take it for years with no problems (although you have to always take it with food), and it has way fewer side effects than minocycline.

Also, if you feel comfortable splurging on even more health products, consider taking Nutricology artemisinin supplements. You can get it for cheap online, and it will do a lot more for you than minocycline.

You do have to take a macrolide along with mepron to slow down the development of drug resistance. Mepron is notorious for interacting with everything, and you have to take it with fatty foods or you won't get nearly as good results. If you want to research it, the AIDs community actually writes about it in detail. So take the ketek at a different time of day than the mepron. And these drugs are two of the worst offenders against the liver, so pile on the supplements.

Mepron reacts to nearly everything, so I wouldn't let that stop you from using it in combination with other drugs. Just be cautious about taking them at different times during the day.
