Hi All,

I posted this also in general but have really been wondering if anyone knows about this Squalene stuff, since those three disease it causes (MS, Arthritis, and Lupus), which to me shout Lyme Lyme and Lyme.

This info came to me from watching this movie online called Beyond Treason and it is all about the poisoning/sickening of US troops in the Gulf Wars by the US government unbeknownst to them. This was supposedly done through untested vaccines, depleted uranium, and other bilogical and chemical elements.

The part about the Squalene is near the end and it was supposedly included in an experimental Anthrax vaccine that was given to the servicepeople.

Does anyone know about this?

Here is the link to the movie. It's an hour and 28 minutes long, and sadly does not mention Lyme specifically, but does make a very passing mention of mycoplasma and of course is mostly about Gulf War Syndrome. It was a great movie.

My guess is that the movie is using creative license and that the squalene is not the problem.

Squalene is a brand name or a patented formula I think of shark liver oil. Hubby took this for probably a year -- before Lyme illness -- used as part of detox for heavy metal (mercury) problem.

In my mind this would not be that much different than taking cod liver oil.

There were a couple of books written a number of years ago, "Sharks Don't Get Cancer" and "Sharks Still Don't Get Cancer" which made this a popular supplement.

Here is a website with more info

I would be much more worried about the other ingredients in vaccines than squalene (if it is actually one of the ingedients).

This is just my opinion.

i saw a documentary called "friendly fire" by gary null in the city last week.. it covered these very issues, squaline being a cause of lupus/ms/arthritis/fibro.

also vaccines being laced with a mycoplasma that is causing major birth defects.

the birth defects/cancers happening to children in iraq due to depleted uranium poisioning the soil/water supply/air is treacherous. so much for liberating a country..

It seems to me that squalene is o.k. , at least when taken orally. it may not be o.k. if taken by injection, as is the case with a vaccine; the other ingredients in the vaccine confound the interpretation that squalene, alone, is the culprit, although, being a lipid, either it, and/or one, or more of its metabolites may therefore contribute to problem. being a lipid, all lipid-soluble ingredients in the vaccine would be soluble in squalene.

taken orally, squalene would probably undergo modifications in absorptive, and metabolic pathways, and so it may not be a problem.

alone, taken by injection into the skin, it would undergo different processing steps, and this might be problematic; the other ingredients in teh vacc. would confound impressions about squalene being the problem.

what i'm saying is pure speculation. its more likely one, or more of the other vacc. ingredients caused the problems.

back in 1986, i took 2-3 teaspoons of it but first mixed powdered beta-carotene with it. both products were pharmaceutical grade, from germany.

i have proven borreliosis.
