Why would Tonic Water make you feel bad after drinking it. Would this be a good indicator that i might have babs? Man that stuff tastes like crap.

Hey Luke,
I drink tonic water for the quinine because I have been unable to begin Babs treatment yet. But I only drink a small glass and I feel no effects from it. I would guess that the amount of quinine is rather small.
When I used to see a Lyme naturopath, she was the one who recommended drinking tonic water for Babs until I could go on artemisinin or something strong.
How much do you drink?
I discovered that squeezing some lime in it is rather tasty.

yes,
I would say this might be an indicator of babesia infection.
I am currently on clindamycin/ quinine rotation with biaxin and trust me, the quinine sux the big one.
Severe headache, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills, chest pain, and weird vision stuff going on. Yuck.
