I can't remember!! Isn't that just the way it goes ?!! It is a radio station out of Knoxville and they just did a great job. We will see if she posts anything!!

I did get on the air to ask a question. Just a general question about how to find a lyme doc and she gave out the lymnet site and others.

The radio host was great too and her husband sounded like he belonged on the air!!

Hey,
I called in also and talked with our group leader.
Dani, I heard you talking while I waited.

I had called in and waited almost an hour before I got to say anything and I was eating nails to get to talk.

Once I got on I didn't shut up until they said we had to stop.
I think our group leader had really taken the bull by the horns.
I am so glad and proud that someone is speaking out and getting some attention to people living in a state like Tn where we don't have lyme.

If you heard I did mention about my friend that had 12 horses that tested positive for lyme at UT vet school about 10 years ago.

Just before the show went off they ask about our group leader and her husband maybe being back next week.
Is that great or what.

Linda sent me an email advising of this and the web link for it. So I went in yesterday to see what it was like. You had to register so I did all that.

I didn't however check what player they use! So I couldn't connect as my media player 9.0 didn't download correctly ... so could NOT hear at all.

I did email those on my IOWA/MINN/WIS. lyme list so they might have the chance to listen & call.

Does Knoxville, Tenn. make the program available to listen to later with "stream"?

This morning a local lyme VET w/early lyme had a 1.0 hr. show on Des Moines' WHO radio show. He had a link that I listened to 50% of it tonight before something went wrong & went off.

If anyone wants it, please post here; I'll read new responses & see it so others might enjoy if they chose too.

Bettg,
I am not sure if you can listen later. It really wasn't anything earth shattering.... just good honest rael lyme information. So nice to get that out there!!

Travis- hope you are doing well... they really did a great job. While I was on hold, I got to listen to the show but once I talked, it cut me off and I couldn't listen anymore!!

The response from the talk show was great.

They want to have it again next week.
The local newspaper is wanting to do an article.

The host for the show said today that they had 91 emails yesterday about lyme.

This is so great.
Thanks Linda, for being so brave to get something in our area.

91 emails ... how WONDERFUL! That says a lot right there!

Hopefully, now I can listen to the next boardcast, but I emailed Linda asking for 2 day notice so I can forward her notice out to other lymies here in the Midwest and we can listen to Tennessee lymies talk.

Who knows, if we are given the 1-800 no. early also, we can dial early to get on with our questions/comments.

I am so thrilled to hear about the education you provided to the Tennessee community. It is desperately needed. Thank you so much for your efforts.

Of course, this same radio show is desperately needed in Nashville.

Thanks again.
