Hi all.

i have been waiting patiently for my IgM and IgG results for the last 2 weeks. My doctor received the IgG but lost the IgM, so IgeneX is refaxing the IgM. I will post those results once i get them.

well according to cdc and igeneX i tested negative, but i think maybe otherwise.

Band 39 IND
Band 41 +
The rest are negative.

Now many LLMDs would say that is a positive result. IgeneX needs two or more POSITIVE bands to give a positive result. But IND is something right? If my band 39 was +, along with 41, I'd be IgeneX positive. Hopefully the IgM will yield better results.

My symptoms have been very lyme-like:
blurred vision- increased weblike floaters
joint pain
finger tremors
bone pain (breastbone)
glandular cyst on foot
herx-like reaction to zithromax
slight malar rash
borderline low wbc
symptoms intensify from alcohol
burning pain under feet after exertion
TMJ
and many more...

*i was in the catskills in december '05. 3 weeks later i got a flulike illness, and then all this started..i have not been the same since. no history of tick bite.

what do i make of this igeneX result along with symptoms and history? if you all could give me some opinions i would greatly appreciate it. i have been in lyme/lupus limbo for months because of the common symptoms these two diseases share, and the slight malar rash screamed lupus, until i learned that lyme can cause it. tested negative for all lupus antibodies.

please comment on my results, 39 being IND and 41 being + scream exposure to lyme to me, but I am looking for more opinions...

thanks and be well.

IND is something. And because you have it on a band that is specific to Bb, I would get evaluated by a LLMD. You may have to go on Abx to get a more positive test. Sometimes when your on Abx it brings the infection out, so you start to produce antibodies.

And considering you were in a highly infectious area, I wouldn't think twice about getting treatment immediately!

My IGG

is

39IND
41+
66+

so very similar to yours. I would seek an LLMD

curious what was your herx like reaction to zmax?

I had throat numbness, sensitivity to light and dizziness. throat was so bad thought it was closing...but i was breathing fine.
