Hi Guys-

I have been positive on 2 co-infections (I can't remember the names of them) but not on Lyme or babs although all of my docs say I have babs symptoms.

Can someone tell me all of the co-infections and what there symptoms or primary symptoms are?

Thanks!
Hope

Hi hopeandme. In addition to Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis (Human Monocytic Ehrlichiosis and Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis) and Bartonella, one other co-infection is Mycoplasma.

Many of the symptoms can overlap. In addition to the information provided, I recommend the book "Everything You Need To Know About Lyme Disease (2nd edition)" by Karen Vanderhoof-Forschner. It has a lot of good information, including about the co-infections.

You may want to get copies of all your test results.

Hope, Dr. B's treatment guidelines are another great source http://www.ilads.org/burrascano_0905.html He discusses co-infections starting on page 22.
