I HOPE I'm on target about ANA titers...because one lab said I was negative for ANA titer and Western blot.

But, "Labcorp" said that on 11/22/05 I had an ANA titer: 1:320 H (Homogeneous pattern) and that titers greater than 1:160 were "clinically significant".

They also showed the following: (whatever this means):

3/15/06: Lymes: Positive
Lymes IGA AB = 1.0 index N: <.08
Lymes IGM AB - <.08 index N: <0.8

I have no clue what that stuff means. All I know is one of amany docs I've seen said, "Oh, did you know you tested positive for Lyme disease?"

I said, "Uh, duh...what's Lyme disease?"

So, here I am..on this website, learning all I can.

If you've tested positive for lyme, I'd be less concerned about the ANA titers and more about the lyme. I'd get myself to a lyme literate MD. (As I understand it, many people with lyme have positive ANA at the beginning--after treatment, they revert to negative ANA.) Good luck.

Done and done. I just scheduled an appointment with Dr. K in NM, who is a LLMD. In fact, that's his whole practice....
