If IV and IM antibiotics bypass the gut entirely, do they still kill the good bacteria in your intenstines or not?

yes, they are systemic.

Yes. The cells of the gut absorb the abx, so you still need to take probiotics while taking IM or IV antibiotics. Some people still have nausea and other gut issues while doing IM or IV, but most have an easier time.
