Insomnia (fractionated sleep with Babs?) had been one of most stubbon major symptoms of mine.

First time I took 3X3X540 Cat's Claw (Solaray), my sleep immedeatedly significantly improved, then I didn't pay attention to it. Then when I stopped C'sC, my had been struglling with sleep again and didn't know how to improve sleep.

Then yesterday, I took 2X3X540mg Cat's Claw (Solaray), I had the best sleep in the 2.5 months.

To me it's a magic bullet.

But strange enough, I remember that I also took Cat's Claw powder from FirstChinaherb and didn't see a trace of such effect.

Anybody had such experience? Or C'sC cure Babs?(I attributed my insomnia to Babs).

Hi Dave,
I am very surprised at your response to CC. It is paradoxical, from what I've been told and what I have read.
I take the liquid, TOA free form of CC, called Samento, which is much stronger. (See www.samento.ec.com and click on "Lyme Borreliosis Library" and read the Cowden protocol by Dr. Lee Cowden, if you want to see the program I am using.)
The makers of Samento (Nutramedix) told me that one sure way to know you have Lyme in your brain is if the herb gives you insomnia. They told me that neuro-Lyme is the only disease where the Samento will cause insomnia. The insomnia is part of the brain herxing.
I have such severe insomnia from Samento, that I have to divide my two daily doses very unevenly so I can sleep at all. Sometimes, I even skip the night time dose entirely, so I can sleep.
Most people get an energy and mood boost from Samento, which is helpful during the day, but counter-productive at night. It has a stimulatory effect on the nervous system.
Samento and CC will not kill Babs. Malarials are the one organism they can't kill. If you want to kill Babs, you need either Quina or Artemesinin.

Thanks Klutzo. I remember I read your postings before that your were very sensitive to CC.

I'll keep trying it and see if it can really improve sleep and energy.

I'll let you know the results.

Hi Dave and Klutzo,

I've found that Cat's Claw over the long
haul helps improve my sleep time and quality.
Also we have noticed that the RainTree Cat's
Claw works as well if not better than Samento
after your body has cleared much of the bacteria
and toxins.

After moving up to about 50 drops of
Samento per day, we changed to regular Cat's
Claw from RainTree and 3 to 4 caps is fine.
It has been two years now on regular Cat's
Claw with no symptoms except some fatigue.

We think that Cat's Claw is extremely effective
in relieving the neurological symptoms of Lyme
disease, so it does cross the brain barrier.

Blue Skies..........John

Had my son taking cats claw and saw ZERO benefit. I do not believe Cats claw helps everyone but am glad to hear it does help some.

Has anyone tried SIBU balance? Its a juice made from the Seabuck thorn berry. Heard about it from a friend who swears by it and found my insomnia was significantly better after drinking the juice for three days. The seabuck thorn is the only fruit with omega fatty acids 3,6 7 and 9 and is loaded with antioxtiants. My entire family has been drinking 1-3 ounces a day now for a few months. I'm really beginning to see a difference.
