I might be ignorant--maybe doctors already do this.
Since Lyme bacteria hides in the joints why don't we shoot the antibiotics in the effected joints?
Is there some reason they don't? I mean I only took environmental biology in college, so I really don't know much about medicine...can anyone explain this? Has anyone asked their doctor this?
I might start taking antibiotic shots and it was my understanding they give it to you in the butt.

In the long run, probably does not help. You just push them around from one place to another. So butt or joint, long-term result is probably similar. You may even get less absorption by not injecting it into muscle...
