Anyone have any input good or bad on a Keys Backyard Infared sauna? Home Depot sells them. It is for use indoors.
I have neuro Lyme, how often and how long should I use a sauna?
Thanks, Cheryl

Sauna's are a great way of detoxifying! I have neuro lyme also and seen great benifits from it. I am not sure about the home depot saunas.
Our doctor had one he recommended so that is the brand we got. We got ours from high tech health. I Know that infarred sauna's are the way to go. It penatrates your skin and works deep. Thats what you want.
Our doctor pushed the type of wood to use is popular less toxic wood and getting an infarred sauna.
Here is the web address to where we got our sauna. www.hightechhealth.com So you can collect all the information and compare.
Good luck! I dont regret getting our sauna!!

oh and i forgot to mention that they come with a manual of how long you should be in it starting off. I usually have mine at 135 degrees and stay in for 30 mins and I drink lots of water. Just always replenish your self with fluids! It can deplete you of potassium and other important electrolytes.
There for awhile I would eat a bannana every day to supplement me with potassium. I stopped when I found out how much calories are in one bannana!
