I probably already know the answer to this, but does anyone's symptoms get much, much worse with heat? I'm sure I'll get a resounding "YES!", but just wanna be sure.

My body likes to switch back and forth. Two years ago I spent a week at the beach. Not one problem. I felt great.

Last summer I couldn't even go outside for 10 minutes without feeling awful.

This year, the heat makes me more tired but if it's just sunny out with no humidity I can function.

I never want another year like last summer. Heat made me sick and air conditioning made my hands and feet turn purple and ache.

Yes, heat is a problem for those with orthostatic hypotension and/or fluid retention. I don't know if there are other causes for heat intolerance in lyme but if you have heat intolerance you should check to see if you have orthostatic hypotension. You can be treated for that and it will help you to feel better. Not to say that you won't still be heat intolerant, just not as bad.

Yes! My symptoms get worse with heat and the sun.

The Winter is my favorite time of year.
