Ok on to the question..
If i am taking doxy and if i have blood work done it will show a positive?? I was told that you will always have a pos even if you have going through the meds is that true??
Also is the western blot a good indication ??

You may or may not get a positive on a blood test with antibiotics--just like you may or may not get a positive blood test when not on antibiotics.
The western IgM and IgG are the tests you want. You may also ask about the PCR test and ask to be tested for co-infections such as bartonella, ehrlichiosis, and babesia.

you want your western blot IGM/IGG blood test done MON. - WED. NOON ONLY! Can't sit in post office over weekend!
MD must sign IGENEX's downloaded request form, PUT DIAGNOSIS code on it, and write you want results FAXED TO DR., and snail mail copy. Mine were lost at clinic 4.5 wks!
