Has anyone tried this combo? It might be better to use Biaxin, ketek, or Zith instead of the Ceftin, but is there any reason why Ceftin and Bicillin shouldn't be used together? This should cover the keets better than using just one, and the Tini squashes the cysts at the same time so that there is no transforming on their part. No place for the little buggers to hide!

Husband just finished 2 months of Ketek. Took 1/8 pill of flagyl every day last week also.
He's now going to do a combo of Zith and doxy for a couple of months.
He did well on the Doxy when he first took it, so I'm hoping the combo will really be key!?!
We shall see.

I can't address the combo, but I'm currently on Ceftin and have been since starting treatment a year ago.
I've seen a lot of improvement. I started taking rifampin for Bartonella in Dec, in addition to the ceftin and had even more improvement.
Now, I'm able to add Tini to the mix. I wanted to wait until the bacterial load had decreased somewhat. LLMD said she was concerned about hte herx if I did things all at once.,
But that's just me, and as we know, everyone is different.
