I am doing some research for my friend who suffers from lyme disease. He asked me to post seeking information about treatments that work to modulate the immune system.
ANY INFORMATION WELCOME!

The following recipe works well for straightening out adrenal function:
Standard daily doses of: magnesium B-complex Pantothenic acid Vitamin E Then: Large doses of Vitamin C daily [powdered 10,000-12,000mg or bowel tolerable] Very good formula to regulate adrenal function

bamaloger: The "whole shebang" is complicated, and you'll have to do alot of reading to educate yourself.
You should read the "newbie help links," near the top of the threads here on the medical questions forum.
There are many things that can help modulate the immune system. Different products like mushroom extracts, cat's claw, etc. Read "Healing Lyme" by Stephen Buhner. Read about magnesium, essential fatty acids, "systemic enzyme therapy."
You'll need to know the patient's medical history, and how different products may interact with antibiotics, if he/she is on them.
This is one reason that Lyme patients go to a Lyme literate physician. There is just so much to learn.
Wishing you the best, Carol
