i have been so sick with cns symptoms with stiff neck, headache, etc. i tried a rife session at my friend's house. that evening i felt stoned. the next day i felt horrible with severe headache, stiff neck, couldnt move. today my neck which has been stiff for months is sooo much better, i can think and my headache is gone. i would like to keep doing this if it helps. i remember dr. b. saying that rife machines may use a cathode tube to produce the em waves and may emit radiation. is this true? is rife safe?

I think Rife devices are like Quinine.
If a healthy person takes Quinine it can KILL him! However the quinine is much more harmfull to the babesia or malaria than it is to us.
The same rule may apply to Rife devices, and other EM devices. I think that is why some become over sensitive to EM fields, it kills the bacteria.
I have worked in electronics for nearly 40 years, and I can tell you first hand that the EM fields are not nearly as harmfull as Lyme, Babesia and IMO Mercury fillings.
I was self treating years before I knew I had Lyme disease. I discovered that a magnetic tape eraser helped my aches and pains! My exposure to EM fields held off the lyme disease for 20 years without antibiotic treatment.
Then after 2 years on antibiotics I discovered Rife devices and built every one I could find the plans for. My favorites are the "Doug Coil", the "Thumper" and an ozone machine. I have used them and over the counter natural antibiotics for about 4 years now.

Rife killed me! I did it before I knew it was Lyme though. I have Babesia and m.pneumoniae too.
I know that you need to start off real slow with rife. I'm just too scared to try it again.
Best of luck!

How many minutes did you run it, SAK?
It's kept me off abx for a year now. I'm sold!

I was on Rife twice a week for the MS frequencies. I think maybe it ran for about 8-10 minutes?? Not sure though.
I think that being treated for the wrong thing, wrong frequencies must be part of it.
It's great that it works so well after you're adequately and appropriately treated. Thanks for sharing that info lymetoo.

If you get one, go with 3-4 minutes the first time...just in case.

I know one person who has been using Rife for over 10 years with no issues.
I have been using it ~ 4yrs with no major issues. I would not use frequences less than 60 hertz, as our body uses low frequences. Alos, ramp up slowing, to see how your body reacts. Do, over rife, give you body time to clear out toxins, or you'll be hurting. Usually ~ 18-24 hours between rife sessions for powerful machines, until your bacterial load is lower.
Hope this helps, Ernie

Hey Sak
When I got my EMEM3D I was told to only do 2 minutes and work up slowly.
Well by the second session I thought this is not near long enough. I went 15-20 minuets and herxed so bad I didn't rife for a while.
Now I just do once a week and wait for the herx to clear.
Hope this helps

I've been using the EMEM5 for 10 months now. I've had huge herxes. I've also been able to differentiate which symptoms are which by laying off of certain numbers for awhile then using them.
There are pain numbers, numbers for headaches, numbers for detox...
There are lists and lists of frequencies, but it is still all about learning what works for you.
You also should know that your body may feel like it is relapsing as these machines kill off gradually and do not mask symptoms. You may also not be killing off some of the co-infections like a broad spectrum antibiotic will do, although there is a number for everything.
It's a different breed of cat from ATB use.
For me, it has been the answer as the ATB's cause me such problems.
I occasionally use antibiotics but it seems my body does better when my GI tract can heal and develop a good bacterial load.

I love my Rife machine. My husband built me an EMEM7. It takes time and you must go slow and be patient when you Rife.
There are some good threads on this if you do a search.
A good detox program is essential. I have a steam tent with oxygen/ozone pumped in and it helps cut down the length of my herxing and the intensity of it.
