Most of my family has Lyme. My mother (char here) and my brother and myself. My dad got lucky.
Well, my brother's on Mepron and it is an understatement to say that he's cranky. I sometimes compare him to a devil reincarnate.
Mum would like to know (and I guess me too if I ever start up on Mepron) if it causes constipation? He's having some trouble and it's always hard to get to the root of the problem when you've got ten things going. Much thanks!

Correct me if I am wrong, but mepron is a babs medication that should be combined with zith. How did you doctor tell you mepron would work against lyme?

I'm sorry I didn't post it first, we all have co-infections but Douglas most of all has babs (and he is getting zith as well).

It can affect your eyesight the first month you take it, giving you trouble with depth perception and focusing. It could be a good idea to supplement with beta carotene or lutein, and to be cautious about driving. I once tried to put a cup of scalding hot coffee on what I thought was a glass table top, but which was actually the empty air several inches above the table top.
It is very tough on the liver, so it may be a good idea to add in several liver supports. The ones I used were schizandra, NAC, selenium, phosphatidylcholine, and Dr. Zhang's Hepa Formula 2.
