I know I had a map somewhere that showed the incidence of lyme disease around CT and New York but I cannot find it. It shows black along the Connecticut shoreline . LI and the other islands.
A reporter has contacted me because they are looking at his town in Cal to maybe relocate Plum Island. He needs concrete info that shows it's fairly obvious that lyme has something to do with Plum Island. He wants to discourage a biowarfare lab in their area. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone knows where that map is I am speaking of, please let me know how I can get it.

its brett. maybe you saw my map?
ive found a new 2004 version. it is offical from the CDC. it is an incedence by county map. it is on the CDC server. as you know plum island is right on the end of long island across from lyme, ct. also ft detrick might have had somethign to do with this as well in maryland.

You can't look at the black coastline and not wonder if plum island started the whole thing. It's pretty much dead center to the black area.

When I hear people say "Oh no, lyme disease was never studied at plum Island..you are so gullable", I feel like I live in a parallel universe or dysfunctional family.

I hate that.

It's the same feeling I get when my CT neurologists tell me "Oh, you may be holding a CDC postive lyme test and have all the symptoms of neuroborriliosis, but you don't have lyme--what you need is a psychiatrist."
