Hi. I am having my amalgams out next week and will not be seeing my LLMD for about 5 weeks after that. I need to start chelation, but won't be able to until I see him in 5 weeks. I wanted people's opinions on what you would do herbally if you were in my shoes presently. My metal toxicity showed mercury and lead toxicity. More severe range was mercury. I have read many articles on chlorella, etc., but wanted a list of what people would do with amounts and using these products with my current abx regimen? any interference with abx?

Hi focusonsurvival,

I can't give you any advise, but I can share my own experience with having my fillings out.

After getting a couple of my fillings out I went over to get the IV vit C and took a lot of chlorella that day and a few days after. I always took my Vitmain C at different times..away from any abx.

Chlorella didn't seem to effect me in any negative way, I took this before I ate and late at night. The IV Vit C made me herx....strange, I believe it was mercury, but then afterwards I would feel good.

Hopefully GiGi will see this, she knows alot about this stuff.

Good luck to you.

I would eat chlorella like M&M's if it were me. I do that anyway without having the amalgams taken out. I average 30 tablets a day - generally all in one setting. There are lots of other binding agents that have been mentioned here before that might be of some added value, but if you can tolerate chlorella, it would be at the top of my list.

Focusonarrival, yes, by all means, as Scott said, take Chlorella. Metall-free chlorella, i.e. clean chlorella, before, during and after removal to catch the loose ends.

Chlorella has no effect on intracellular metal toxicity (where a lot of mercury is). There is no metal chelator, per Dr. K. We all wish there was. There are only clathrating agents.

If you want to know more, you might want to read some of my posts. Most of them deal with heavy metal toxicity and teeth, because many health problems start there.

Taking your fillings out, is a positive beginning by eliminating the source. But not much is accomplished unless you remove the mercury and other toxic metals from the body compartments where they have settled and continue to do damage affecting your whole body and where the microbes find their home. That takes expert help. I hope you find it.

Take care.

Can you speak with your LLMD by phone for a quick consult to determine what he or she feels would be best for you?
