Okay...I'm gonna blame it on 'gut bacteria' and not on the box of Blue Bunny ice cream pops I just downed!!!! Posted by TexasChaos (Member # 7465) on :
Has anyone tried Dr. Mercola's diet? Was it successful?
I tried South Beach a while back and only lost 4 pounds in 6 months,

Texas,
I'm glad you mentioned Dr. Mercola. I too am interested to see if anyone's tried his diet.
He just also came out with a probiotic that he has supposedly worked on himself in conjunction with a company and he touts it as the best porbiotic out there. Wondering if anyone has tried this.
I looked at the details that I could find, but it didn't look better than Theralac to me.
I do really like a lot of his stuff though, the krill oil is amazing.
Just wondering . . .
Alison

The above link is from Dr Mercola. Check out the Theralac/Culterelle thread for info on his probiotic. Someone mentioned having tried it.

Hi! I've been taking Dr. Mercola's probiotics and I like them much better than Tharalac, which did nothing for me. Have been wondering about his krill oil... how do you find it's superior to a good fish oil supplement? Also - new book out - the fat resistance diet by Leo Galland - to combat leptin resistance. I just started it today.

I was a patient of Mercola and he couldn't even find the lyme years ago.
I tried the diet and at the time - no such luck but who knows. I haven't tried it recently

Homemade kefir is the best probiotic I have used!!
Way better than anything in a botttle. It is live cultured food ........ probiotics in their natural state .......... the way food should be.
Search Kefir on this site. It has been discussed previously.
