Just wanted to thank you for all the help and all the info I have found here. I am now waiting further advice/test results to decide my next move. However I want to throw a question at you all.
It is very easy to find information regarding how Lyme immitates (or perhaps even is wrongly diagnosed as) other diseases.
However, what diseases does Lyme imitate?
I dont just mean a simple case when someone has one or two symptoms and in that case it could be almost anything. I mean for someone who feels they have probably gone down all the roads possible to rule everything else out, have or have had almost all the Lyme symptoms at one point or another over the time from when they first got sick until now, but are still without an answer.
Due to the nature of Lyme disease the sufferers become extremely medically knowledgable, in some cases more so than those who should be!
So I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this question.
I personally have researched and researched trying to find the cause of my maladies but Lyme or being stigmatised with a Syndrome (CFS, ME, FMS etc) is all I can find.
I had my first LLMD last week and the Doc (highly respected) said my problems were highly suspicious of Lyme disease and would trial treatment.
I now await my follow up via phone and IGeneX test results, but in the meantime while my STRANGE symptoms persist, I still wonder that if the results are negative, even though I know it could be a false negative, what else it could be?
I am sure many of you have been here before so some input would be great.
Cheers Steve

I'm not completely sure what you're asking. Maybe this will help:
This list is not definitive. It's just some diseases I've heard it imitates and/or may cause:
MS ALS Lupus Rheumatoid Arthritis Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Fibromyalgia Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Parkinson's Alzheimers Various psychiatric disorders
