Since my last relapse in july I have one symptom that was not there before: An EXTREME nervoussness/hyperactivity.
I have also experienced that I do not tolerate any stimulants (caffeine, ritalin) since that relapse. It makes me feel like my brain is swelling...
No I want to know if this symptom allows me to drow any conclusion. Is it maybe specific for a certain co-infection?!

I don't know. I think it could definitely be Lyme disease. My second choice would be bartonella.
Hope your nerves calm down soon!

I had the extreme nervousness and anxiety feeling you describe when I was at my sickest with Lyme. I thought I was going out of my mind. It passed after I was treated with IV Rocephin.
Four months after the IV treatment I relapsed and the anxiety and what I called the jitters returned. I definitely hated those two symptoms about the worst. I constantly felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. Sitting still was next to impossible. It was actually so bad I went back to smoking after having stopped for many years.
Was treated again with IV Rocephin followed by orals abx and haven't had the problem since. Hang in there when you get the right treatment it will go away.

It could be autonomic neuropathy. Many people with Lyme get damaged autonomic nervous systems from the illness.
It causes me to wake up very nervous and anxious sometimes. It also impacts your heart rate and blood pressure, so caffeine could definitely exacerbate things.

Babesia always caused extreme anxiety for me and my hubby.

There is something called "Lyme Rage" where you feel extreme irritability, nervousness, etc. I find it helps to address my liver. In Chinese medicine the liver is associated with anger.
