I had my first today and it lasted 35 minutes. The hydrotherapist relayed to me that is the average amount of time of all her visits. I was under the impression they generally last a hour or more.
For those who do colon hydrotherapy, how long are your treatments? Thank ya!

Hello I had one yrs ago and it made a HUGE differance in how I felt.
Mine also lasted approx 35 min.
Did you do a 3 day fast first?

Hey Lady! No fast beforehand. Was told to use a castor oil warm compress on the abdomen for an hour for the three days leading up to the visit.

I did not do any fasting iehter but I did find it a bit more productive if I had eliminated before having it done. Mine lasted 35 to 50 min. the only reason a couple wnet longer was due that things were really moving.

Approx. one hour, give or take a few minutes. If various fills return empty, they need to work their way up a little further. That's where the art of a good therapist takes over. Also a gentle massage at the proper area often is necessary to get to the tougher things. Look at the shape of a colon --- they have got to work their way around the horseshoe!!!
Hope you get nice and relaxing scenery with gentle tunes on the screen. Relaxing pays off.

That's incredible, so do you feel crampy?
I did mine under the supervision of a chiropractor (he did the fast part) and then he sent me to a health awarness place to have it done 3 days later.
No cramping - no nothing.

Yes, some cramping. I don't know what I would drink on a fast. I don't drink fruit juices except the Xango.

Mine are usually about 45 min -1 hour. they are lifesavers most of the time...although I can feel a little worse for a short while after due to rapid toxin release....but heart palpitations have calmed down a bit after 2 colonics the past 2 weeks!

I had a lot of cramping as well. Overall the experience was just fine. Atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Just a little concerned this particular hydrotherapists treatments are not long enough. Towards the end of the visit she told me she thought she was already at the first turn, which was unusual for your first colonic. I assumed that was why my appt. seemed so short. When I questioned her about the duration of the session, she said 35 mins. was average, and that she has had several and they never lasted an hour. I knew I had read to the contrary. Just want to get the most for my money...

The purpose of the fasting was to eliminate cramping during the procedure.
I ate nothing for 3 days, drank some sort of power mixture that included all essential vitamins and minerals needed to keep the body going during the three days.
The colonic still pulled out junk, even tho there was no food in the system.
