I have been experiencing these tremors, like a nervous shaking feeling but internal. When I look at my body it is not shaking, yet I feel really skakey inside.

Anyone else experience this??

Do a search for Internal Vibration - this is a symptom among many of us and I think the posts are usually called something like Internal Vibration.

One person posted that it's like being a car on high idle. That describes it really well for me, and when I mentioned that description to my LLMD, he said it was a great description. He had been calling it internal vibration.

I actually physically shake and tremor - you can see if I hold a piece of paper, otherwise others don't notice. I've had Lyme for four years.

But my dad, who was bitten this summer, has the internal vibration that he feels internally but you cannot see at all.

It's a miserable symptom but you are not alone.

Betsy,

I'm pretty sure about four years I had them...

It's like a lot of symptoms...once they go away we don't think about them much cuz they're gone and we have plenty more(unfortunately) to worry about!

Then one day it hits you...wow I don't have that symptom anymore...zman

I had those too, along w/shaking of my hands, head , and basically my whole body once or twice. I've also been treated w/Bicillin and almost all of those symptoms have gone away. The shaking symptoms were one of the first to improve. Probably all gone with 3-6 months of abx.

If you have the internal buzzing in the brain, don't get an MRI. It'll make you feel like your're being tortured and probably be negative, although an EEG taken at this time should come up positive (abnormal). At least mine did. It was only then that my ducks believed there was something really wrong w/me. But they couldn't recognize the pattern as anything they were familiar with.

Yes, but rarely get them after being on abx for a couple of years.

Ive also had these tremors but only now that Im on abx. I guess it is a type of herxing. I think maybe if you have them and your not on antibiotics yet, it might be your body trying to fight these darn buggers. Just a guess and a thought. Just so some relaxing breathing techniques and try not to stress. I noticed when I stress it gets stronger. I think because Im making my body tense so therefor it has a harder time trying to get rid of the darn bacteria. [Smile]

Yes, I have the internal vibration too.
It's really difficult.
It's constant.
Looking forward to it going away.
I'm glad to see these symptoms subside eventually.

I get that shaky, vibrating feeling on the inside too. It usually happens when I'm feeling really sick. When it happens my head feels really weird too. I get an all over feeling of being really sick. Thank goodness I don't have it all the time because it's awful!!
