Everything seemed fine until about 4 yrs ago when i started getting a host of odd symptoms,

anxiety, cognitive dysfunction, roaming joint pains, testicular pain, all coming in bouts every 1-2 months.

I got every test from spinal taps to mris to ultrasounds, etc.. To no end.

I was diagnosed with Anxiety with panic attacks and put on paxil .

I struggled for 2 yrs. with the paxil and have recently quit it off for 2 mnths now.

My symptoms still resurface every couple months and the nuerological problems sre a daily struggle.

I am convinced i have chronic lyme and am having trouble positively id'ing it with western blots and elisa.

Need a doc who is serious about finding what is wrong and treating it

any suggestions and does it sound like lyme to anyone else who has it similar to my case and has been posotively verified as having it?

Sounds like you were under treated. Get to a LLMD and get tested again and back on abx.

Go into "Seeking a doctor" section and someone will help you find a doc near you.

all of your symptoms are possible lyme symptoms. They also describe other illness.

What you should do is find a lyme literate dr. (llmd). If it is lyme they are going to be your best chance of getting a diagnosis and adequate treatment.

If you post in seekinga dr and post where you are located and where you can travel someone will pm you with a drs. info.

Please make sure your private message box is enabled because we do not post dr's info on the board due to political issues.

Many of us went through a baterry of tests and suffered with our symptoms for years without being diagnosed so most of us have been where you are now.

Hang in there

Best wishes
