Just a quick question. When reading on the site this weekend,

many said that acidophilus needs to be taken 2 hours from the

abx. Is that to help the abx to work better or the acidophilus?

I do not want to be scrweing up my meds. Thanks.

It gives the acidophilus a chance to get to work in your body before being killed off by the abx.

Remember ANTIbiotics are the opposite of PRObiotics.

thanks. that's what I thought, but since the acidophilus has been working fine with a shorter gap, I wasn't sure. I feel better now.

Acidophilus should be taken 2 hours after abx. Because abx kill off all of the good bacteria in your stomach and intestines, the acidophilus has to replace it but only after the abx go through your system. No point in taking them closer to the abx or before because the abx will just kill them off too.
