does lyme cause bells palsy and how soon after bite can it happen? Just wondering, my brother in law has it and had a bug bite and doc said it wouldn't happen this soon if it was lyme. I have lyme and worry cuz he's been bitten lots of times.
Thanks

I would think it could happen right away. I don't know for sure.

It never ceases to amaze me about ducks....

They won't diagnose it; they won't treat it;

But they know what it will or won't do and cause on a given time line.

What a bunch of steere bull....!

zman/ Yes it can go directly to the cns not collect two hundred dollars......

Lyme bacteria invade the nervous system very early on. It can affect any of the first 12 cranial nerves. Bell's palsy occurs when Lyme hits the 7th cranial nerve.

A DUCK is what we lymies call the mainstream MD's cuz we think they're QUACKS!

And just so ya know we call mainstream infectious disease dr's IDiots!

Especially when either misdiagnose us as having all kinds of other diseases when in reality we had lyme.

zman
