Anyone taking Allimax Allicin? I was just wondering if it would be better than taking the freeze dried garlic since one pill contains 180mg of stabilized allicin.
It seems that to get the benefit of the freeze dried capsule you would have to take alot of pills. Isn't that because the stomach acid inactivates the process that converts the garlic to allicin?
I know that there are numerous other benefits from the whole garlic. It just seems that the antbacterial, antifungal and antiviral benefits come from the allicin.
I'm presently taking BioImmersion Garlic. (2xday)

Hi, As I just told another poster above who asked the same question, I just ordered some Allimax from iherb.com, and will post on it once I've tried it.

When I was doing the BI garlic, I was taking 8 capsules per day. 2 seems pretty light.

I know the dosage is light, that's why I was thinking of switching or adding the Allimax. Taking 10 of these a day to get the benefit of the allicin just doesn't make sense to me when there is a stabilized garlic product available.
I have called the company on their lyme study and other research. Seems to be a great product.
