My left leg just does not work right; it's weak, causes me to limp, and affects my balance. My left hand/fingers also just don't work sometimes which limits my ability to do my job. My right side is perfectly fine.
Anyone else with problems just on 1 side of your body?

It affects the right side of my body mostly. The muscles on the right side feel weaker and ache more than the left. This includes my neck down to my right leg.
The shape of some muscles has changed and there is muscle tone loss all over.

Yes, some of my symptoms have been one-sided (facial numbness, eye pain, headaches). So one-sided that before I was diagnosed with lyme, I thought maybe I had a minor stroke.
Do you have a good LLMD to discuss these symptoms with?

Yes, I have a good LLMD who knows about these symptoms and feels that they will get better. I've been trying different things (antibiotics for 6 weeks, detox program, supplements) since August and have seen no absolutely no improvement.
I see him again on Wednesday and will hopefully start some different antibiotics.
I know it takes time to find the right combination--I'm just not a very patient person.

I am going to beat you in this competition. I have sensory symptoms that CHANGE sides. Mostly my left side is affected but on occasions left side is good and symptoms appear on the right.

Kawai,
Yes, hang in there! Because it takes many months, and for some folks even a year or two, to make real progress.
I started treatment earlier than you - in July, and now am seeing some improvement in a number of symptoms. But not all of them, and symptoms actually come and go -- for me there are plateaus and valleys in this recovery. But as long as the trajectory is up overall, it helps to get past the hard times.
Be well and I hope you feel better soon!
