I can't speak for anyone else but for me the answer is no. I have not been able to get rid of the ringing. There are times when I dont' notice it I believe it waxes and wanes. Maybe it has to do the the spirochete load or when symptoms flare.

Others have claimed relief with a product called Bio-Ear. I have not used it though I might.

I have had tinnitus since 2002 when first diagnosed with lyme. Been off abx for approximately 2 years with some symptoms left, one of which is ringing in ears. I just rife now for maintenance.

I expect that I will have ear ringing forever, and I just assume it is part of my "new" normal. I'm just grateful to be functioning on an almost normal level, albeit, a "new" normal.

You do get used to it...I did, and I hope it subsides somewhat for you, so it becomes a little less bothersome.

I wish I had a better answer for you, and hopefully, there is a cure for that in the future.

I believe ringing ears is a side effect of zinthromax... cant remember if any others cause it

so if your on that I would call the pharmasist and double check.

I have had buzzing in my ears and it did go away with treatment.

Best wishes

I have had ringing in the ears for several years. I don't think this will be the one symptom that will go away, but there is always hope.

I've had this for many years. Attributed it to the loud whistle I used at school for a while! That was before I realized I had a chronic illness.

Mine is constant, but I notice it more when I'm in a quite place, or doing something requiring concentration.

To my understanding, every Lymee would have ringing ear, and with successful treatment, it would go away.

I haven't heard this or seen this to be true. Once the damage is done it is done.

p.s. Ringing in ears is a very common first sign of YEAST YEAST YEAST so if you *aren't* taking prophylactic diflucan a couple times a week or month I would ask your LLMD about it!!!!!!!
